Springfield’s fall residential branch pick up will begin in the NORTHWEST quadrant of the city on Monday, October 8. The fall curbside branch pick up will be set for one (1) pick up for each area and follow a pre-set schedule over four (4) weeks.
The city will be divided into four (4) directional quadrants that the collection schedule will follow. These areas are listed below. Crews will be in each quadrant ONCE and branches must be placed curbside by 6:00 a.m. the Monday of the assigned pickup week to ensure branch pickup and disposal by city crews.
As a reminder, smaller branches may be broken up and placed in yard waste bags for curbside pickup. Residents may also drop off their branches year-round for FREE to Evans Recycling with proof of residency. This service is not for commercial contractors but for city residents only. Evans Recycling is located at 2100 J. David Jones Parkway and is open Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 .am. – 12-noon. The contact number is 217.391.0886.
