Be Mindful Where You Place Branches Curbside

Consequently, any structures around or underneath the pile may be damaged during collection. The City asks all residents to look out for and avoid placement of branches and/or yard waste on any of the following locations. This will help maintain the structural integrity and safety of our crews. Avoid placing branches and yard waste on:

  • Manholes
  • Handholes
  • Junction Boxes
  • Meter Pits
  • Standpipes
  • Sprinkler heads
  • Inlets
  • Drains
  • Poles/Posts

This service fee covers the cost of programs like this drop off program, year-round yard waste pick-up, electronic recycling drop off and other events like household hazardous waste collection events.

Those who do not want to continue to bring their CWLP bill may keep the city tag in their vehicle and show it each time they check-in to drop off their branches or yard waste bags. Residents may also stop by the Office of Public Works, 300 S. 7th Street, 2nd Floor to receive a “City Tag” You do not need to bring your CWLP bill to Public Works.
